Nusantara Reclaimed Terra Cotta Mosaics are a totally reclaimed product originating as roofing tiles from de-commissioned buildings. The discarded tiles are broken, tumbled for a short time and the pieces are affixed to a mesh backing to form our distinctive Terra Cotta Mosaics.
ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS
Roofing tiles from de-commissioned buildings in Indonesia are collected, broken by hand, put in a tumbler for 15 minutes then sent directly to the production facility to be made into mosaics.
This beautiful product has been saved from the landfill and given new life as a unique hand made mosaic.
